Inspection Machines

Showmark UniSpooler and DigiSpooler winding machines are an excellent foundation for a complete inspection system for fine wire, fiberoptic wire, 3D filament, or flexible tubing. Various inspection devices such as laser micrometers, lump detectors, spark testers, or vision systems can easily be designed into the wire path of the machines. The output of the inspection equipment can be integrated with the controls of the machine. Depending on the type of winder, it can be programmed to simply stop if a fault is detected, or to move the faulty section to a specific location where it can be marked or cut out. The DigiSpooler can even back up until the faulty spot is detected again.
