Precision and Comfort
The ErgoSpooler is a precision winding machine for applications where interaction or monitoring by an operator is required. It is ergonomically designed with the take-up spool and operator interface within easy reach of the user. The convenient foot pedal frees the operator’s hands for applying adhesives, inspecting the spool, or other special requirements.
The 4-axis servo motor control system provides smooth starts and stops with .06% length repeatability. Tension is precisely controlled in available ranges from 5g – 5Kg. The machine includes a PC-based, 17-inch color touchscreen interface that stores several hundred winding recipes, and includes a report generator. A high magnification digital microscope and camera system is available as an option.
A Flexible Solution
The ErgoSpooler can be equipped with various sized shafts for holding standard style spools and mandrels; or it can be fitted with chucks or a sliding tailstock to add flexibility for unique winding requirements.
